Hitter can set up at impact fix: body and hand at impact position, therefore hip is in a close position 10-9-B.
It is also benefitcial to preturn hip and semi-lock them according to 10-15-B Delayed hip action.
Question then is it benefitical for hitter to set up at impact fix but with hip preturn in an open position? And is this also defined as adjusted address.
I have this exact same type question...should I be setting up with hips neutral or back? I saw a Chuck Evans video that says hitters pre-open the hips to clear a path for the hands.
